To all my speaker friends… this is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills. An online course by comedian/preacher Andy Kind not to be missed!

Following the storming success of the first round of preaching workshops, Andy is now booking in some more, and it would be great to see you there!

Andy runs workshops on the art of preaching, both in-person and over Zoom, using his two decades in the world of comedy to ferry across many of the transferable skills found there.

If you’re a preacher (or would like to be) and you’d be interested in gleaning some practical hints and tips for communicating your message, get in touch!

Here’s some feedback from previous course attendees to whet the appetite:

‘Andy Kind delivered a masterclass of communication: Clear, funny, profound. Andy spoke with humility regarding the past whilst presenting a clear challenge to re-tool and re-think our preaching in the future. I cannot recommend this workshop highly enough.’

Rich Hasnip, Course Leader Applied Theology and Performing Arts, Regents Theological College.

‘From the very start Andy’s delivery was engaging – his humour, insight, and audience participation held the room for the entire session. Drawing upon his years of comedy and preaching experience Andy helped us consider how to deliver a compelling talk with authenticity, all whilst considering the audience we communicate with. The overwhelming feedback from our speakers was that they felt empowered to ‘be themselves’ in their delivery and are excited to apply the things learned.’

Tom Cooper, National Speaker Team Lead, Christians Against Poverty

‘Andy engaged lay and worship leaders on many different levels. He is an energetic and passionate speaker with a heart for the gospel. He enabled us all to nourish people by using everyday examples in the context of today. We all came away with top tips that we can practically introduce straightaway. He is a real gem and reminded us all that we are valued by God, Flawed but Adored.’

Daleen ten Cate, Missional Discipleship Mentor for the NW Synod, United Reformed Church

‘I’m excited about preaching again after feeling pretty stale for about a decade.’
