Andy Kind is a full-time stand-up comedian known for his ability to develop niche markets. He is one of the pioneers behind the new wave of Clean Comedy hitting the UK comedy circuit, as well as performing at hundreds of churches and Christian events around the country. Since winning ‘Anything for Laffs’ in 2005, he has gone on to be recognised as one of the warmest and most engaging comperes in British comedy.
Andy specialises in workshops with young offenders and vicars - not at the same time, of course. He sees comedy as a way of dealing with suffering, and a means by which people can develop a real sense of self-worth and value.
Andy’s workshops were given national recognition on BBC1, and a documentary about the work he does is currently in production. The secret behind Andy’s success as a tutor lies in his deep-rooted belief that he is there for the benefit of the tutees, not the other way around.
Andy takes delight in working with a broad range of people, and brings a joy and enthusiasm to any course.
